22 Years Ago Today...June 22nd

It was twenty-two years ago today that I saw AC/DC with openers L.A. Guns play Edmonton at Northlands Coliseum.

Also on this day, thirteen years ago, I saw Ween play in Vancouver at the Vogue Theatre.

As well on this day seventeen years ago today, I saw Bush with openers Veruca Salt play the Coliseum here in Edmonton.

Looks like June 22nd has been a good day for shows for me. It was also on this day a year ago I saw Tedeschi Trucks Band play Edmonton at the Jubilee Auditorium.

Today's poster is from the Bush and Veruca Salt concert I saw at Edmonton Coliseum in 1996. I had no intention of going to this concert, til my friend Doug called me the day of the concert and invited me along, as he had an extra ticket. I thought Veruca Salt were pretty good.
