25 Years Ago Today, Cliff Burton Was Taken Away

It was 25 years ago today that we lost one of the all time best bass players ever. I am talking about Cliff Burton of Metallica. He is missed dearly. RIP Cliff!!!

I am thinking Cliff would approve of Metallica recording an album with Lou Reed. I just wish Cliff was around to do his part for the album.

"Control your life through insanity" Cliff Burton.

24 Years Ago Today

It was 24 years ago today that the music world lost one of the best bass players ever at the age of 24. Cliff Burton of Metallica was killed in a bus accident while on tour in Sweden. Cliff was and is still one of my all time favorite musicians, I liked everything he stood for, just a down to earth guy that played wicked bass in an awesome band at the time. Metallica were never the same after losing Cliff. Rest In Peace Cliff, you are missed.

Cliff Burton Book

This book caught my eye, just because I have been a huge Metallica fan for many years and well, the 3 albums that Cliff Burton played on are their best albums by far.
As for the book, it was alright, nothing special. If you were or are a fan of Metallica and Cliff Burton, you probably know everything about him already. Really there was nothing new in this book that I didn't already know.
Nonetheless, nice to see a book wrote about the ultimate bass player Cliff.
Long live Cliff Burton's music.
