June 5th

My ticket stub from the time I saw Canadian rocker David Wilcox play the Myer Horowitz Theatre in Edmonton. This show was on June 5th, 1997 and was billed as a acoustic performance, which I thought would be very cool to see. Well it wasn't an acoustic show and it wasn't a very good show either. Disappointing!

Ticket Stub Of The Day Mar.4th (David Wilcox)

Today's ticket stub is from the first time I saw Canadian guitar player David Wilcox in concert. Wilcox was touring for his album 'The Natural Edge' at the time. This show was at The Metro in Edmonton in 1990. I went to this show with Nerraw and Hurl and maybe others, those days were kind of blurry.

Concert Poster Of The Day Aug. 8th (David Wilcox)

Today's poster is from the David Wilcox concert Hurl and I went to at The Myer Horowitz Theatre on the U of A campus in Edmonton in 1997.

We were really looking forward to this show as we had seen Wilcox in concert a few times already and really enjoyed his shows. This show was billed as an acoustic concert, so we thought this should be interesting to hear Wilcox do his stuff on acoustic guitar, especially at a good venue. Well, to our disappointment, it wasn't an acoustic show at all. He didn't even bring out an acoustic guitar, it was just him and a bass player. We left this show feeling ripped off. Concert was not as advertised at all.
