March 25th, 2007 saw me at Rexall Place in Edmonton at the Eric Clapton and Robert Cray concert. This Clapton show was way better then the time I saw him in 1998.

September 11th

It was on September 11th, 1998 that I saw the double bill of Eric Clapton headlining with Bonnie Raitt opening play the Edmonton Coliseum. Clapton was touring for his album Pilgrim, which in my opinion wasn't a very good album. Bonnie Raitt ruled this show big time!

15 Years Ago Today...September 11th

It was fifteen years ago today that I saw Eric Clapton with opener Bonnie Raitt play the Coliseum here in Edmonton.

Also on this day three years ago, I saw Winnipeg based musician Greg MacPherson with local band Sleeping Girl play a short lived bar in Edmonton called Live On Whyte.

Ticket Stub Of The Day May 30th (Eric Clapton)

Today's ticket stub is from the first time I saw Eric Clapton in concert. This show was in 1998 at the Coliseum here in Edmonton with Bonnie Raitt opening. Clapton was touring for his album "Pilgrim". I was really looking forward to seeing Clapton in concert, but have to say Bonnie Raitt stole this show. She was excellent, way better then I was expecting. I went to this show with Mark and Lori. Had a few drinks before the show, took a cab to it, got there, only to have Mark realize he had forgot his ticket at home,ha ha, dumb ass.

Concert Shirt Of The Day Mar.25th (Eric Clapton)

Today's ticket stub is from only the second time I have ever been to a concert on my birthday. This show was Eric Clapton with Robert Cray opening at Rexall Place in Edmonton in 2007. This was the second time I had seen Eric Clapton in concert and have to say it was way better then the first time I saw him in 1998. I won tickets to this show from The Edmonton Sun and went with Hurl.
