July 26th, 2001 The Reverend Horton Heat with opening band Bare Jr. at Suburbs in Edmonton. This was an awesome double bill.
It was June 21st, 2014 that I was in Calgary for the Sled Island Music Festival when I saw Portland, Oregon band Gaytheist and War Baby from Vancouver, BC among other bands play the Bamboo Tiki Room.
The gig poster for the time I saw Misery Signals play Stars here in Edmonton. One of the opening bands was local act Drive By Punch, I don't recall who else was on the bill.
It was on May 25th, 2013 that I went to see a Ween tribute band play the DV8 here in Edmonton. I'm not one for tribute bands, but a band from Calgary called The Jammy Pacs doing Ween, count me in. And fuck ya it was good.

The gig poster from the November 24th, 2010 guitar clinic I saw Gordie Johnson of Big Sugar and Grady fame do in Edmonton. This clinic was originally supposed to be at Avenue Guitars but was moved to a conference room at the Varscona Hotel just a few doors down. This was super cool to see Gordie Johnson in such an intimate setting as a small ballroom with maybe a dozen people in attendance. Was neat see him play sitting on a chair within a few feet and getting to ask him questions and get his autograph. Good times!!!

It was on Halloween night October 31st, 1992 that I saw Edmonton's metal band Mary Prankster play the Golden Garter here in Edmonton.

Bionic were a band formed in Montreal featuring Ian Blurton of C'mon, Change Of Heart and Blurtonia, also in the band was Jonathan Cummins of Doughboys fame. Opening the show was Les Tabernacles and Twin Fangs. A great rock n' roll band Bionic was.
It was on September 11th, 2010 that I saw the Greg MacPherson Band with local act Sleeping Girl play the short lived bar LYVE on Whyte.
It was on August 21st, 2003 that I saw the Punk-O-Rama Tour here in Edmonton a Red's. This tour featured The Bouncing Souls headlining with Hot Water Music, Worthless United and The Forgotten.

It was on August 4th, 2012 that I saw the local band Idyl Tea do a free in-store performance at Permanent Records here in Edmonton.
It was on July 19th, 2012 while on holidays in Newfoundland, I was in Corner Brook visiting when I saw that the Edmonton band Slates were playing the White Horse Lounge there. Well, I wasn't going to miss that. Very cool to see an Edmonton band that I really like in a place like Corner Brook.
