June 2nd

  June 2nd, 2000 saw me at the Motorhead show at the Agricom in Edmonton with opening bands Speedealer and Nashville Pussy. Unfortunately Fu Manchu cancelled.

October 6th

  

 On October 6th, 2000, my brother Citrus and I went to the Misfits concert at Red's in West Edmonton Mall. Opening this show were Texas rockers Speedealer, Winnipeg band Guy Smiley and locals Les Tabernacles.

15 Years Ago Today...July 9th

It was fifteen years ago today that I went to Calgary for the Edge Fest concert there. Bands on this bill I was stoked to see were Green Day, Foo Fighters and Sloan.

Also on this day eleven years ago, I saw Fu Manchu with Speedealer play The Rev here in Edmonton.

Today's ticket stub is from the time I saw The Misfits in concert at Red's in 2000 in Edmonton. Opening bands for the show were Texas band Speedealer and Winnipeg band Guy Smiley and locals Les Tabernacles. I went to this show with my buddy Psycho.

Concert Shirt Of The Day Sept.27th (Speedealer)

Today's t-shirt (actually it's a long sleeve shirt) is from the time I saw Southern California band Fu Manchu with the Texas band Speedealer and Brand New Sin at The Rev in Edmonton in 2002. This was my first time seeing Fu Manchu and really enjoyed their set,some good old stoner rock, also on the bill were Speedealer whom I had seen once before.Fu Manchu were touring for thier excellent album "California Crossing" This was one more reason to checkout this show.Speedealer were touring for their debut album "Here Comes Death" which was a very underrated album. I was very impressed with them. They were originally called REO Speedealer, but had to drop the REO after REO Speedwagon took offence to the name and filed a lawsuit against them. Good show all around. Don't recall if I went to this show with anyone.
