 July 11th, 1990 saw me at Northlands Agricom in Edmonton seeing Joe Satriani in concert on his Flying In A Blue Dream Tour.

23 Years Ago Today...July 11th

It was twenty-three years ago today that I saw Joe Satriani play the Agricom here in Edmonton.

Also on this day nineteen years ago, I saw Junkhouse play Peoples Pub in Edmonton.

And it was sixteen years ago today that I saw Weezer play in Calgary at the MacEwan Ballroom.

Looks like July 11th has been a good day for shows, as it was seven years ago today that I saw Slayer play here in Edmonton at the Shaw Conference Centre.

And finally it was three years ago that Edmonton held the first SOS Festival.

In concert news...Joe Satriani will be playing in Edmonton on Wednesday October 16th at the Jubilee Auditorium.

More concert news...Weezer will be playing in Edmonton as part of the Sonic Boom Festival on Sunday September 1st.

Today's t-shirt is from 1990 when I saw Joe Satriani play at The Agricom. This was quite the guitar virtuoso show, I still think Stu Hamm the bass player stole the show with his awesome bass solo of the Peanuts theme.
This show was put on by radio station K97, look at the price on the ticket stub, they had early bird special on tickets.
