Roger Waters Live 12/10/10

On Friday December 10th my buddy A-Bomb and I made the trek to Vancouver to see the Roger Waters concert at Rogers Arena for the performance of Pink Floyds classic album 'The Wall" done in it's entirety. Coincidentally it was 23 years ago to the day that I first saw Pink Floyd in concert at BC Stadium. Anyways, this evening it was Waters doing 'The Wall' no other Floyd songs were performed, just The Wall.
What an amazing concert it was. While tickets were expensive, it was worth every cent. The show was sold out, with scalpers getting 350 dollars for a 70 dollar ticket. Roger sounded great and had an awesome back up band, while his guitar player (G.E. Smith) was excellent, he didn't have the smoothness of David Gilmour, but really that is a very minor complaint. From start to finish it was absolutely amazing, awesome sound, great light show, cool images on the Wall. There were a few moment during the show that brought a tear to the eye, like when they showed film of soldiers coming home to their family. The show had some political connotations to it.
I would give this concert a 10 out of 10 and will definitely be in the top 10 shows that I have ever been to.
