Today's t-shirt is from the first time I saw
Robert Plant in concert. This show was in Vancouver at Pacific Coliseum in 1988, I took the bus to Abbotsford and hooked up with my buddy Big Head and then traveled from there to Vancouver for the show. We took the Greyhound into Vancouver with some friends of his, and what a fun bus trip that was. A short bus ride, but we were drinking beer and smoking hash all the way there (not sure how we got away with that) and then had a tail gate party in the parking lot before the big show.
When I first purchased tickets for this show it was billed as Stevie Ray Vaughan opening, that didn't pan out as it ended up being
The Georgia Satellites opening which is too bad. Nonetheless this was an amazing concert. Robert Plant was touring for his album Now & Zen, with the tour called the Non Stop Go tour.
