Concert Shirt/Poster Of The Day Feb.18th (System Of A Down/Mars Volta)

Today's t-shirt is from the opening band of the excellent double bill of Mars Volta opening for System Of A Down at Rexall Place in Edmonton in 2005. I wasn't sure what to expect from mars Volta as I am not a big fan of their studio albums, but seeing them live was an experience. They reminded me of Led Zep mixed with Jimi Hendrix. They had that raw psychedelic feel. After seeing them live I became a bigger fan of Mars Volta. This was my second time seeing System Of a Down in concert and they didn't disappoint either. Overall a great double bill of heavy music. Good times!!!
