The day life changed in a big way for me. October 31st, 1984 I went to my very first concert. That being the Helix and Kick Axe double bill at the Golden Garter in Edmonton. I've been hooked on seeing live music since. And what a great show it was too. Helix were touring for their album Walkin' The Razors Edge and Kick Axe were touring for their debut album Vices. Good times!!!
On October 20th, 2010 I got to see Kris Kristofferson play at River Cree Casino in Edmonton. So glad I got to see him at least once before his passing earlier this year at the age of 88.
On October 29th, 1990 I saw this awesome triple bill of Judas Priest with openers Megadeth and Testament at Northlands Coliseum in Edmonton. Judas Priest were touring for their album Painkiller. And all these years later all three bands are still going strong.
My ticket stub from the one and only time I saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers in concert. This show was on October 26th, 2003 at the Skyreach Centre in Edmonton. Opening the show was former bassist for the Minutemen Mike Watt. Peppers sucked at this show, in my opinion anyways!
It was on October 25th, 1995 that I saw the Montreal band Grimskunk play the Apocalypso in Edmonton.
October 24th, 1996 was Neil Young with Crazy Horse at the Edmonton Coliseum. Neil Young was on the road for his album Broken Arrow. Opening the show was the Canadian band Moist and American roots rockers Pete Droge and The Sinners who were excellent. And of course Neil Young ruled!

On October 22nd, 2011 I saw Canadian indie pop singer-songwriter Lou Canon play a free in-store performance at Permanent Records in Edmonton.
My ticket stub from the Hatebreed show I saw at the Starlite Room in Edmonton on October 21st 2006. Opening the show was Sworn Enemy and Scars Of Tomorrow.
It was on October 20th, 1993 that I saw two blues legends on the same bill, that being Buddy Guy headlining with John Mayall opening at the Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton.
On October 18th, 1992 I saw Bruce Springsteen play Northlands Coliseum in Edmonton. This was the one and only time I had seen The Boss live. And to think I had to have a buddy of mine talk me into going to this show. I liked Springsteen at the time but wasn't a huge fan. After seeing him in concert I really became a fan of Bruce Springsteen and am looking forward to seeing him again next month.
My ticket stub from the time I saw the Supersuckers on October 17th, 2001 at New City Likwid Lounge in Edmonton. This was the first of two nights they did at New City. The first night which was the 17th was their Country set and the following night they did a Rock set. Boyh shows were awesome but I really enjoyed the country set even more.
