 Concert memory of the day. It was on March 7th, 2003 that I saw Misery Signals with local bands Savannah and The Wolfnote opening play Stars On Whyte here in Edmonton.

11 Years Ago Today...December 23rd

It was eleven years ago today that I went to a bar called Stars here in Edmonton for this all local hardcore show. Bands on the bill were Savannah, Preshure Point, Stronger Than Blood among a couple of other bands.

Concert Poster Of The Day Oct.9th (YWE Festival)

Today's poster is from the fifth annual "Yesterday Was Everything" Festival that was held in Edmonton in 2006 at The Power Plant bar on the University of Alberta grounds. This festival in honour of two members (Jordan Wodehouse and Daniel Langlois) of the local hardcore band Compromise whom were killed in a vehicle accident in 2002.

Some of the bands on this all day concert were headliners Misery Signals, Darkest Hour, The Februarys, and local bands Sleeping Girl, Savannah, Etown Beatdown and many more. A great day of heavy music and an awesome way to honour Jordan and Daniel.
