 On August 29th, 1997 I went to Edge Fest at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton. This festival was originally booked to be at Telus Field but was moved to a larger venue. Bands on the bill for Edge Fest 97 were Our Lady Peace, I Mother Earth, The Tea Party, Collective Soul, Glueleg, Silverchair among others.

April 10th

 

 On April 10th, 1994 I saw I Mother Earth with opening act Our Lady Peace play Peoples Pub in Edmonton. IME were amazing live!

16 Years Ago Today...August 29th

It was sixteen years ago today that I went to the Edge Fest concert held here in Edmonton. Originally this show was to take place at Telus Field, but was moved to a bigger venue, that being Commonwealth Stadium. Some of the bands on the bill were Our Lady Peace, I Mother Earth, Tea Party, Collective Soul, Silverchair and others.

19 Years Ago Today...April 10th

It was nineteen years ago today that I saw the double bill of up and coming Canadian rockers at the time I Mother Earth with opening band Our Lady Peace at Peoples Pub here in Edmonton. Checkout the price of tickets for this show.

Concert Poster Of The Day Sept.26th (I Mother Earth)

Today's poster is from the I Mother Earth and Our Lady Peace concert I saw in 1994 at People's Pub in Edmonton. Both bands were touring for their debut albums. I Mother Earth were excellent and Our Lady Peace were pretentious pricks, thinking they were big rock stars already. They were awful and haven't been a fan of them guys ever. Both bands ended up having big followings in Canada, it's too bad I Mother Earth were never the same after their second album Scenery and Fish, which was an awesome album.
