16 Years Ago Today...July 28th

It was sixteen years ago today that I saw Bloodhound Gang play at The Rev here in Edmonton.

Also on this day eight years ago, I went to the Sounds Of The Underground Festival at Rexall Place in Edmonton. Bands on this bill were Gwar, Strapping Young Lad, High On Fire, Lamb Of God, Madball, Throwdown among many others.

Concert Shirts/Poster Of The Day Aug.17th (Metallica)

Today's t-shirts are from the Metallica concert I saw in 2008 at Rexall Place in Edmonton. Metallica were touring for their album Death Magnetic, this was my seventh time seeing them live and first time since the Black Album tour. Opening bands for this show were Lamb Of God and The Sword. I really enjoyed this show and thought Metallica put on an awesome show. Nice to see Metallica back on there game. Good times!!!

Concert Shirt/Poster Of The Day Mar.30th (Slayer)

Today's t-shirt is from the second time I saw Slayer in concert. This show was in 2006 at The Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton. This was the Unholy Alliance Tour which included Lamb Of God, Children Of Bodom, Mastodon and Thine Eyes Bleed. It was a night of some very loud heavy music, almost too much for me. But Slayer kicked ass as per usual. Good times!!!

Another souvenir I bought at this show were Slayer rolling papers, cool idea I thought and from what I could tell, there were more then a few of them used during this concert.







In concert news... Slayer and Rob Zombie will be playing Rexall Place in Edmonton on Sunday July 31st.
