 On July 14th, 1992 I saw East Coast Canadian blues man Matt Minglewood play Peoples Pub in Edmonton.

21 Years Ago Today...July 14th

It was twenty-one years ago today that I saw Matt Minglewood play at Peoples Pub in Edmonton.

Also it was two years ago today that I saw the Tragically Hip play an outdoor show here in Edmonton on the Northlands Grounds.

Concert Ad Of The Day Feb.3rd (Matt Minglewood)

There were no tickets for this show, just a cover charge at the door. This was for the Matt Minglewood show I saw at Peoples Pub in 1992. I went to this show with my buddy Buzzard who introduced me to the music of Matt Minglewood. Buzzard being from Nova Scotia as Matt is too, has followed Matt's career from the beginning, therefore talking me in to checking out the show. I thought the show was pretty good, but Buzzard wasn't all that impressed, saying he missed the harp played that usually played with Matt. All and all though we still had a good night of drinks and music.



In concert news... Matt Minglewood will be playing at Century Casino in Edmonton on Friday March 4th.
