April 7th

Way back on April 7th, 1995 I got to see the Washington, DC ska band The Pietasters play the Sidetrack Cafe in Edmonton. This was an incredibly fun show to be at.

March 13th

It was March 13th, 1998 that I saw Boston's The Mighty Mighty Bosstones on their tour to support the album Let's Face It. Opening act for this show at Dinwoodie Lounge in Edmonton was Washington, D.C. band The Pietasters. A great ska double bill.

15 Years Ago Today...Mar.13th

It was fifteen years ago today that I saw the Mighty Mighty Bosstones with openers The Pietasters play in Edmonton at Dinwoodie Lounge.

It was also seven years ago today that I saw Heaven And Hell (Black Sabbath, Ronnie James Dio era) in concert at Rexall Place in Edmonton with openers Megadeth.

Concert Shirt Of The Day Sept.6th (The Pietasters)

Today's t-shirt, actually it's a long sleeve shirt, is from the Washington, D.C. band The Pietasters, whom I saw open for The Mighty Mighty Bosstones from Boston MA. back in 1998 at Dinwoodie Lounge on the University of Alberta Campus. This was a great double bill of ska music in an excellent venue. Good times!!!

Notice the misspelling of Kelowna in the tour dates.
