On June 8th, 1990 I was at Northlands Coliseum seeing the double bill of Whitesnake with Faster Pussycat. Whitesnake would have been touring in support of their album Slip Of The Tongue.

26 Years Ago Today...October 19th

It was twenty-six years ago today that I saw Motley Crue with Whitesnake play the Olympic Saddledome in Calgary.

And it was six years ago today that I saw The Sadies play the Starlite Room here in Edmonton.

In concert news...The Sadies will be playing this evening at the Arden Theatre in St. Albert, about 15 minutes outside of Edmonton.

Concert Shirts/Poster Of The Day Oct.23rd (Motley Crue/Whitesnake)

Today's t-shirts are from the double bill of Motley Crue with openers Whitesnake on the Girls,Girls,Girls tour of 1987. This was a pretty good double bill for the time, with both bands having put out decent albums in 87'. Good enough that my buddy Nerraw and I did the back to back shows here in Edmonton at Northlands Coliseum and then the following day going to Calgary and seeing them again at the Olympic Saddledome. This was my second and third time seeing the Crue in concert and was way better then the first time I saw them on the Theatre Of Pain tour.

Concert Poster Of The Day Aug. 30th (Whitesnake)

Today's poster is from the double bill of English rockers Whitesnake with the LA glamsters Faster Pussycat opening. This show was in 1990 at Northlands Coliseum in Edmonton, in front of a small crowd of about 4,000 fans. Whitesnake were touring for their album "Slip Of The Tongue" which had guitarist extraordinaire Steve Vai. Faster Pussycat were touring for their album "Wake Me When It's Over". The main reason I went to this show was to finally see faster Pussycat, they didn't disappoint, I thought they were really good. I don't recall who I went to this show with.
