 It was on May 14th, 1998 that I was in Vancouver at GM Place for the awesome triple bill of Bob Dylan headlining with openers Joni Mitchell and Van Morrison. Such a great bill and concert. Good times!!!

15 Years Ago Today...May 14th

It was fifteen years ago today that I saw Bob Dylan with Joni Mitchell and Van Morrison play at GM Place in Vancouver, a wicked triple bill.





Also on this day four years ago I saw Joel Plaskett perform at McDougall Church here in Edmonton.





And it was two years ago today that I saw Edmonton band Captain Tractor play at Permanent Records here in Edmonton.



In concert news...Joel Plaskett will be playing in Calgary on Friday June 21st at Flames Central as part of the Sled Island Festival.

Concert Shirt/Poster Of The Day June 6th (Bob Dylan)

Today's t-shirt I got when I traveled to Vancouver in 1998 to catch one of the best triple bills I have ever seen. The bill consisted of Van Morrison opening followed by Joni Mitchell and headlined by Bob Dylan at GM Place. They only did a handful of dates on the west coast and I was lucky enough to attend this unbelievable concert.

The night before this show I saw Bob Dylan play a warm up show at a bar in Vancouver called The Rage, that show too was incredible. The best hundred dollars I have ever spent on a ticket.

This is one of my all time favorite concert shirts.

In concert news... Van Morrison will be playing at The Edmonton Folk Music Festival on Wednesday August 4th.
