 April 13th, 1995 I saw the Toronto band Glueleg play People's Pub in Edmonton. Glueleg were on the road promoting their awesome album Heroic Doses.

August 29th

  

 On August 29th, 1997 I went to Edge Fest at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton. This festival was originally booked to be at Telus Field but was moved to a larger venue. Bands on the bill for Edge Fest 97 were Our Lady Peace, I Mother Earth, The Tea Party, Collective Soul, Glueleg, Silverchair among others.

July 12th

  

 On July 12th, 1995 I saw the Toronto band Glueleg play Peoples Pub in Edmonton. Glueleg were on the road promoting their Heroic Doses album.

19 Years Ago Today...July 12th

It was nineteen years ago today that I saw I Mother Earth with openers the Headstones play Peoples Pub here in Edmonton, a great double bill of two wicked Canadian bands.

Also on this day eighteen years ago, I saw Toronto band Glueleg play Peoples Pub.

And on this day five years ago, I saw James Taylor play Rexall Place here in Edmonton.

22 Years Ago Today...April 13th

It was twenty-two years ago today that I saw Neil Young and Crazy Horse play in Calgary at the Saddledome, opening bands at this show were Sonic Youth and Drivin' N' Cryin'.



As well it was eighteen years ago today that I saw a band from Toronto called Glueleg play at Peoples Pub here in Edmonton.

Today's concert advertisement is from the second time I saw Toronto band Glueleg play live. This show was in 1995 at Peoples Pub in Edmonton and my second time seeing them within a couple of months. This was a great band that reminded me of Rocket From The Crypt.

Concert Shirt/Poster Of The Day June 16th (Glueleg)

Today's t-shirt is from a 3 piece band plus 2 horn players from Toronto that were around between 1990 to 1997. The band was called Glueleg, I saw them play at People's Pub here in Edmonton in 1995 and thought they were incredible, they reminded me a lot of Rocket From The Crypt with the punk/jazz sound with a couple of horn players. The album Heroic Doses that they put out was really quite good.
