The 2005 Festival was held over two days with a no minors show at the Starlite Room and an all ages show at Red's in West Edmonton Mall. I went to the no minors show on Canada Day at the Starlite Room. The bands on the bill for this night were E-Town Beatdown, Shout Out Out Out Out, Time Is The Enemy, Eighteen Visions and headliner Misery Signals.
Something I will never forget about this show, was when Misery Signals (led by Jesse Zaraska whom was the lead singer in Compromise), did the song "The Year Summer Ended In June" a tribute song to the two members of his old band. Looking around at the crowd during this song and seeing people with tears in there eyes and crying, a very touching song. You couldn't help but tear up yourself.
A great day of music and also a great tribute to Jordan and Daniel.
