The latest release Something More Than Free by Jason Isbell is without a doubt one of my favorites of the year, a great follow up to his album Southeastern. Not that this album is any more upbeat then his last one, it still has heartache songs that clash between country ballads and rockers. Jason Isbell is one of the strongest song writers out there these days. An amazing album.
Favorite songs - "If It Takes A Lifetime", "Speed Trap Town" and "The Life You Chose" there really isn't a bad song on this record.
