Today's t-shirt is from the time I saw the Montreal based band
Bionic play at
New City Likwid Lounge in Edmonton in 2002. Bionic were touring for their album called
'Deliverance' which featured Ian Blurton in this version of the band. Ian Blurton of "
Change Of Heart,
Blurtonia, and his newest band
C'mon" I believe Deliverance was the only album that Ian played on. The only mainstay of Bionic is Jonathan Cummins, and I see they are still putting out albums.
The opening bands for this show were local bands
Les Tabernacles and
Twin Fangs, a great bill of balls to the wall rock n' roll. Good times!!!

New City Likwid Lounge, this bar has recently moved to the Whyte Avenue area of Edmonton 8130 Gateway Blvd North. Next to the new record shop
Permanent Records.
