Ticket Stub Of The Day Dec.16th (Charlie Sexton)

Today's ticket stub is from the time my buddy Buzzard and I saw Charlie Sexton play the Sidetrack Cafe in Edmonton in 1995. The opening band for this show was Mike Plume,whom I missed for this show, not knowing who he was at the time, which is a drag, cause I am now a huge fan of him.

Anyways, Charlie was touring for his solo album 'Under The Wishing Tree'. Charlie has played with many greats over his career including being the back up guitar player for Bob Dylan off and on for years, he has also played with Ronnie Wood of the Stones, David Bowie,Keith Richards and Jimmie and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Charlie also played in the band Arc Angels.

This was a great show in a great club. It's too bad that The Sidetrack is no longer around.
